Parade Hotel Durban, Durban

Although the room was smaller than expected and unfortunately had cockroaches, the cleanliness was better than at the sister hotel. I missed having a microwave and a smoking area for me, but the terrace was a nice touch. The service was outstanding as they really went out of their way to ensure we were settled in comfortably, despite some minor issues with food refills. The location is superb, right across the beach and close to everything one might need, even if it's away from some major attractions. The dining experience was average, and while the facilities are basic, they fit the price paid.
